Treasury has published a bulletin summarising recent developments in financial services. The bulletin covers:
- Treasury’s consultation on its new approach to financial regulation, published in July;
- the agreement on the EU supervision package;
- the planned Securities Law Directive that will address legal barriers in post-trading;
- commencement of the FS Act 2010 (see Legislation below); and
- the SRR Regulations on contributions to the costs of the Special Resolution Regime.
