Car manufacturer reported to be investigating fire claims
Car manufacturer Vauxhall is reported to be investigating claims from consumers that their 2007 Zafiras recently caught fire.
One owner, Sue Freemantle, has reported that her car burst into flames soon after her family got out of the vehicle.
A number of car owners started a social media campaign to see if any other owners had reported similar incidents and found that dozens more people were claiming that their cars had caught fire in a similar way.
Other owners have reported black smoke filling their Zafiras before bursting into flames leaving only a burnt out shell.
Vauxhall has stated that the safety of its customers is its number one priority.
BBC Watchdog is also investigating the reports of fires in the cars.
