The French Network Information Centre (Association Française pour le Nommage Internet en Coopération or AFNIC) is a non-profit association that manages the .fr and .re domain name registries and is the governmentappointed registry for the .fr top-level domain name (TLD). The Versailles Court of Appeal held that AFNIC did not commit any fault in refusing to block a domain name that allegedly infringed a trade mark.
