The Council of the European Union has published the revised text of the Regulation on over-the-counter derivative transactions, central counterparties and trade repositories (EMIR), following its recent examination by legal-linguistic experts.

A press release from the European Banking Authority (EBA), issued on 18 June, confirmed that the final version of EMIR will be signed and available before August 2012.
