On February 13, 2015, President Obama hosted a summit at Stanford University "to collaborate and explore partnerships that will help develop the best ways to bolster our cybersecurity." The agenda for the Summit included discussions of such issues as publicprivate collaboration on cybersecurity; improving cybersecurity practices at consumer oriented businesses and organizations; cybersecurity as a business differentiator; promoting more secure payment technologies; cybersecurity information sharing; improving authentication and moving beyond the password; and chief security officers' perspectives about new ideas on technical security. The summit is expected to result in further work on these issues through government and private sector coordination. You can watch the Summit Video and read the Agenda here.
