HM Revenue and Customs has introduced new late registration penalties for money service businesses, high value dealers, trust or company service providers and accountancy service providers who fail to apply for registration under the Money Laundering Regulations. Businesses failing to register will be liable to a fixed penalty and any unpaid fees.
