The Tennessee Air Pollution Control Board and O’Neil Color and Compounding Corp. (“O’Neil”) entered into a May 11th Order and Assessment of Civil Penalty (“Order”) addressing alleged violations of an air permit.

The Order states that O’Neil operates a Jasper, Tennessee plastic blending and extrusion operation pursuant to a construction air permit.

Condition 2 of the construction permit has language that states:

Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation Division of Air Pollution Control personnel are stated to have conducted an inspection on December 3, 2015 at the O’Neil facility. They allegedly discovered that the previously referenced input limit had been exceeded.
