ACAS has published new guidance on handling pay and wages. The guidance is aimed at small companies and line managers in larger organisations and aims to prevent pay problems arising.

The guidance includes information on choosing a pay system, paying new staff, wage slips, deductions and overpayments, pay during absences from work and pay when an employee’s employment ends.
