The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment  (MBIE) has announced it is undertaking a study to gain a better understanding of the creative sector and how it interacts with the copyright and designs regimes.

As part of this study, New Zealand’s creative sector are invited to participate in a survey in order to help MBIE understand the role of copyright, and how creative works are used and protected. The study will culminate in a report looking at how the copyright and designs regimes are used by the various creative industry subsectors in a changing technological landscape. MBIE would like as many responses as possible to get a good picture of copyright use in NZ.

The link for the online survey is available here and responses close on 19 August 2016.

Survey participation is entirely voluntary and all responses will be kept strictly confidential.  No personally identifiable information will be used in any reports of this data.
