Today, the Senate unanimously passed a three-month extension reauthorizing the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) spending authority through July 15 of this year.  However, the Senate amended the section regarding certain aviation taxes to only extend taxing authority through July 15, 2016.  The House’s version, introduced on March 10 and passed on March 14, extended the taxing authority through March 31, 2017.  The bill will now return to the House.
