As we reported on our news page on 18 October, changes to the shortage occupation list have come into force on 14 November 2011. The changes follow the Government accepting recommendations from the MAC (Migration Advisory Committee) regarding occupations that should be both removed and added. The shortage occupation list forms part of the tier 2 immigration route of the points based system. For more information, please click here.
