The Renewable Energy (Electricity) Amendment Act 2010 (the Amendment Act) was passed by the Federal Parliament on 24 June 2010, and will make a number of significant changes to the legislative framework of the Renewable Energy Target (RET) which, for the most part, take effect from 1 January 2011.
