After the Third Amendment to the Patent Law of the PRC came into effect on 1 October 2009, the Chinese Supreme People's Court issued its "Interpretation on Several Issues Concerning the Application of the Law on Trials of Patent Infringement Disputes" ("Judicial Interpretation") on 28 December 2009.
