KIZAD - a new investment area and free zone *

On 11 November 2010, the Abu Dhabi Executive Council issued notification that land in Al Taweelah dedicated to the Abu Dhabi Ports Company at the new Khalifa Port Industrial Zone (KIZAD), has been designated as an investment area with certain plots within this area also being demarcated as free zones.
