Court reduces construction fines by around 90 per cent in first cover pricing case *

The UK’s Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) has reduced fines by around 90 per cent on six construction companies that had been imposed by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) for anti-competitive ‘cover pricing’ – a practice connected with competitive tendering.
