In perhaps the most severe set of penalties that we have seen for public inspection file violations, the FCC released two sets of fines to stations that had self-reported, in their license renewal applications, that they did not have Quarterly Issues Programs lists in their public file for the entire 8 year license term.

By June 1, 2012, noncommercial radio stations in Michigan and Ohio, and noncommercial television stations in Arizona, District of Columbia, Idaho, Maryland, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia and Wyoming, must prepare and file electronically a Biennial Ownership Report with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) using the current noncommercial FCC Form 323-E.


Broadcast station update: EEO reports due June 1 *

By June 1, 2012, radio and television Station Employment Units in the listed states must prepare and place in their Public Inspection File and post on their website, if they have one, their FCC Annual EEO Public File Report.
